Great Artists in the Permanent Collection

The Art Center has been blessed with patrons who loved and collected art. Many wanted to share their pieces with other art lovers and our community through the Art Center and bequeathed or gave many of their most loved works to our Permanent Collection.

In celebration of these wonderful benefactors, we will present a selection of works by Great Artists in the Permanent Collection November 19, 2011 through January 8, 2012.

The exhibition will feature work by many world renowned master artists including Henry Matisse, Edouard Manet, Salvador Dali, Maurice Vlaminck, and Marc Chagall; as well as regional favorites that include Charles Counts, Jane Larson, Bryon McKeeby, and Richard Jolley.

We offer this incredible group of works for you to enjoy and share with your families, extended families and guests through the holiday season. It will be a world-class exhibition in our own hometown, and will celebrate the memories of those who honor us with their trust and legacy. Opening on November 19th, the exhibition will be in the galleries through the Thanksgiving and Yule holiday seasons.

Galleries will be closed on December 24, 25, & 26 and on January 1, 2012 for the holidays. We hope you will visit often and bring your friends and family to share in this delightful asset to our region. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM and Saturday through Monday from 1 to 4 PM. We look forward to seeing you here.
