We’re always looking for volunteers to help with special events and with the many daily tasks in the galleries and office. Please give us a ring or stop by the office if you’re able to donate your time.

Whether you're a people person or a research whiz, prefer working with tools or children, the art center needs you! Whether you have an artistic talent that you would like to share or would just like to get involved, volunteering at the Oak Ridge Arts Center is the perfect opportunity to give back to the community while enjoying and supporting the arts.

Gallery receptions
Get a first look at exhibitions as a greeter or preparation volunteer! Jobs include handing out materials, setting up refreshment table and helping with refreshments.

Staff Support
Perform computer work, answer phones, prepare mailings, hang/take down exhibits -- get involved!

Special Events
Help with children's activities, craft sales or demonstrations.

Calling all Volunteers!
We need folks to help during this great event! Please bake something for the bake sale!!! We also need folks to help us wrap purchases, run purchases from booths to the front, help at the bake sale, and other fun stuff! Also, tell all your friends to visit us for their holiday gift needs!

The Oak Ridge Art Center is open to the public seven days a week. Admission is free, but donations are very welcome.

Hours:
Tuesday–Friday: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
Saturday–Monday: 1–4 p.m.
