Welcome spring with this delicate and feminine butterfly design. Use your new skills to create these pieces in your mix of favorite precious metals, smooth or twisted wire, and add accents beads or crystals. All your friends and family will want one! FABRICATIONS BUTTERFLY BRACELET: This bracelet will teach you all of the fundamental skills of wire wrapping. Learn the feel, shapes and gauges of different metals, how to control and shape them and the architecture of banding all the pieces together. Learn to size and shape. And of course, adding texture and drama with strategically placed beads. BUTTERFLY COLLAR: Building on the basic skills from the bracelet, we’ll now go bigger and add new shaping skills. We’ll make our collar a bit adjustable so it will fit just right. You’re going to love this collar! LEARN THE TOOLS: wire wrapping requires only a few hand tools, so it’s inexpensive to get started, and convenient to work/carry almost anywhere. SKILLS LEARNED: basic wire wrapping, controlling all those wires, twisting wire, sizing, shaping and sculpting wire, finishing and polishing SKILL LEVEL: No prior experience needed.
