The new to weaving students will learn how to to set up a rigid heddle loom and then will learn to weave, making small things at first and moving onto more detailed projects after.  You will be learning on a Rigid Heddle Table Loom.  If you have one and want to learn more about how it works, join us.  If you know nothing about weaving, but want to learn, join us. 
Whether you have a Rigid Heddle Loom or not, all who are signing up for this class for the first time are asked to call the weaving teacher, Andy Lyle, at 865-567-8226.  She can explain the class in more detail and will help you decide if it would be best for you to rent one of her spare rigid heddle table looms or to bring what you already have.  You will also talk about what you want to get from this class.  That will help her plan out the lessons to meet your expectations.
