The 8-week Rigid Heddle Loom Weaving class will start on Monday, June 9, 2025 meeting from 1 pm to 4 pm. This class will include new participants who want to learn how to weave using Rigid Heddle loom, as well as participants who have been in this class before or who have learned how to weave somewhere else and are interesting in continuing to expand their abilities on this and other kinds of weaving looms. Those new to weaving who do not have a Rigid Heddle Loom can rent a loom from the instructor, Andy Lyle. For information about her looms, contact her at loopsandlooms@gmail.com.
During this coming 8-week session, both groups will learn how to set-up their looms prior to weaving for each new pattern and will then weave a sampler or something larger, such as a scarf. Without rushing through any of the patterns, we will complete as many as we can during an 8 week session.
