Service Description

8 weeks beginning Sept 20, 2023 Are you a veteran artist looking to shake things up a little bit? Or perhaps you feel you would really like to try your hand at making art but don't know where to begin. This is the class for you! Artists of all skill levels are invited to learn a wide array of drawing, painting, collage, and even photo skills in a relaxed, informative environment. Students will learn several traditional and non-traditional techniques, centering on acrylic paints and mediums, pastels, ink, paper, textiles, and more. Projects can be as simple or complex as you want to tackle. The goal of the class is to arm you with the knowledge and experience to bring those projects to light. Class time will include demonstrations of any new techniques as well as ample studio time to work. One-on-one instruction will be available for anyone who seeks it. A basic materials list will be available at registration, but you’re also encouraged to bring materials you may already have.
