Service Description

This is an advanced class for students who wish to go beyond the beginning levels. Students must have your own Rigid Heddle Loom and tools, and know how to wind a warp and dress your loom on your own. Before the class, the instructor will contact each registered student to help build a list of patterns and techniques that the group will focus on in class. The first 4 weeks we will work on our looms learning new techniques including the hybrid method for warping a Rigid Heddle loom, tapestry, inlay techniques, and new weave patterns. During the second 4 weeks students will work on individual projects using what they learned in the first 4 weeks. If time permits and there is interest, the class may visit an area yarn store or weaving event. A materials list is available at registration.
